Our first stop was the proverbial mom and pop market. As you can see they were proud of their boiled peanuts. They had toddlers sorting cigarette cartons and a baby in diapers in a box.
We passed the halfway point of 222 miles.
The early miles today seemed easy but by the time we got to Witch Dance we were getting tired. Some local cyclist/realtor named Mike and Russ offered us their 3 bedroom house but we passed because it was 10 miles out of our way.
We treated ourselves to a Red Roof inn and gobbled up some pizza at Lost Pizza Company.
So . . . it’s all about the mail, after all!
