Day 89: Crystal Clear Water

A breakfast at Black Bear Diner is perfect for today – 60 miles is fueled by a omelette and pancakes.

The Olympic Discovery Trail was much better today in that it was more of a separate trail. Crescent Lake was crystal clear and the perfect refreshing stop. Brent would be proud that we stopped for a swim.

Cedar Rail Trail weaved thru the rainforest-like dense forest with ferns and moss and everything. We finally arrived at Fairholme campground with burgers on Bob’s grill.
