By the time we packed up, The Pickle Place was open so we had our third meal there. Brent wasn’t very hungry so he decided to try a pickle popsicle. He gave it a thumbs up.
We rode through a lot of ranch land and it made me wonder who owns the roads and right to access. The sign below warned us not to leave the road.
We ate lunch at a nice creek crossing called Antelope creek. Bob likes bridges because he can lean his bike against the railing. Luckily there was enough room for a few trucks to cross the bridge.
Bear Creek Summit was quite a challenge but it took more patience and finesse than pure strength.
On the way down the hill Bob and I saw a moose on the other side of the creek. Despite looking awkward he climbed the embankment rapidly.
Our campsite at Cherry Creek was nice and shady with a babbling creek to resupply (filtered) water.
We rode 38 miles and 3800ft of climbing.
Next we continue in the wilderness to a forest service camp near Ketchum.

Great to meet you guys today, hope you had fun going up and over that pass! We are heading for pickles tonight
I’m posting on instagram if you want to see what’s coming. @tgespy
