We all agreed that we really liked Ketchum so it was hard to leave.
The motel breakfast was fancy – they had real plates, cups, and metal forks. We charged all our gizmos and headed downtown to do shopping and ate lunch at Despo’s (short for Desperado’s).
It was an easy riding day, because we just needed to go 13 miles out of town. Along the way, we stopped at a creek with a hot springs. It’s been a long time (maybe 10 years) since I sat in a natural hot spring. It was fascinating to discover the hot spots between the rocks and mix the hot water with the cold.
Our campsite was primitive but a hammock nap made it feel like home. We hoisted our food bags in a tree to keep from sharing with the bears.
Next we go to Baumgartner campground which Tim & Sarah suggested. Should be nice.
