Day 21: Dairies, farms and tourists

We zig-zagged our way west across the farmland with long straightaways and 90 degree turns to find Abbottsford where we ate breakfast at Roseland cafe. Total miles yesterday was 42 miles.

When we rode into Fort Langley, we didn’t expect to see it full of tourists. BC day for sure. After a nice lunch and delicious soft serve ice cream we went to check into the campground.

Once again we are confronted with the dumb/unfair policy of pricing per tent. A junior employee kept pointing his finger at the policy so we fudged and said we would share a tent – haha! Later he called back after talking to his supervisor to say we were allowed to have all 3 tents.

We met up with Carlos one more time. We forgot to warn him about raccoons – he was hit pretty bad. Live and learn.

We ride into Vancouver today to the Douglas Guest house. The lowest cost decent lodging I could find a few days ago. The penthouse suite – stay tuned!
