Boston by Bike is Better

We went to our first Dunkin Donuts, a northeastern staple, (they now call themselves just “Dunkin”). It seems they have special procedures when you order. I had to specify my drink up front and THEY add the cream.

We rode thru Boston and I was thankful that it was a Sunday because I think the traffic was less and people were probably more relaxed.

As usual, we stopped at the REI (a flagship nonetheless). Our path thru Boston went thru Cambridge where we ate lunch at a vegan restaurant by accident (a salad once it a while is good for me).

We appreciated the nice bike path until we got stopped by the confusion of the Encore Casino. Oh well.

When we got to Salem (yes, witch town) we decided on Notch Brewery which was celebrating Oktoberfest (somewhat early some might say).

Our campsite at Winter Island Park in Salem is nice except for the pesky raccoons that absconded with Brent’s jerky and vitamins.
