Day 9: Beautiful Buttes and Gorgeous Gorges

We left the cows to their grazing and pedaled up and down the gorges to the river. It was a hot day so we used all the water we filtered.

We saw a badger in his burrow and he carefully watched us as we passed.

We used what I call “etch-a-sketch” farm roads to zig zag our way into the potato capital of the world (aka Blackfoot, ID).

Brent went to the Potato Museum and bought me a T-shirt because my Trek shirt is looking a bit trashy. Luckily it’s dirt colored.

We had a nice dinner and a walkabout in Blackfoot.

We rode 52 miles and 2000ft climbing.

Next we are headed to Atomic City.
