Day 15: Kettle Valley Rail Trail

The signs say KVR trail. It goes from Summerland to Princeton. We were planning to camp at Thirsk Lake but despite the sign at the beginning of the trail, it didn’t seem to have camping so we continued along to Osprey Lake.

On the trail we met John, originally from England (I think he said Redding). He was motelling it (not camping)

True to the name, we saw an Osprey flying around and it looked like it was being chased by a bald eagle.

Brent talked to our nice neighbors and they gave us some refreshing beers. A swim in the lake and a chili dinner made for another nice day.

32 miles we rode.

Next we complete the trail by an easy ride to Princeton.

I forgot to include this stocked cherry tree
